You might remember a while back, several lines below in fact, where I wrote that
I didn't have anything new to put up today? Well, I was wrong. I've found a
bunch of pics Val gave me a while back to put up, but what with all the this and
that going on with the web sites I couldn't put them up on. Well, I stuck them
on here.

Hoo-whee, from February to April! I guess I've really been slacking off
on this page for quite a while. For that I apologize, but that's all in the
past now so it's already forgotten. Anyways, nothing to add, just thought I
should pop in to say that I'm still alive. (I'm sure some of you might have
believed that to be the case). School is finally over, well besides exams and
an essay I have to finish tonight, but otherwise, HEY HEY! (Insert Krusty
style laughter)
As for the state of this site, well, I doubt I'll be able to put up new pictures
until I find a new web host to stick them on, so I'll be looking for that. I
have enough space on this site for the comic, so when I make new pages I'll
post them directly on this site. For now we'll have to make due with pics of
the week, speaking of which, I'll need something new and interesting for that.
Of course that means I'll need to get together to take new pictures... any
suggestions as to what to do for fun around here? I'm up for another movie
night at my place if people are willing to come. My brother has enlarged his
dvd collection immensely.
Entry title: Winter Break...

Winter break is a misleading title. It's not really a break. You still have to work to catch up with classes. The sad thing is that everyone assumes it is a break yet the professors still assign work to be due the week after which makes it really a work week. Ah well, I'll stop before I start venting.
I did update for a reason. I wanted to show the snow sculpture that I helped produce. The thing is 10 feet and 2 inches tall. You'll see it compared to the people working on it. It's pretty impressive. I was going to just put in one pic to show it in the picture of the week, but I thought it would be better to see it as a work in progress to see how much went into making it. The pictures were taken on the last two days of competition, so most of the snow had already been shaped out, it just required sculpting. If you ask me, the most work that went into it was the actual forming of the blocks of snow. It's too bad I didn't get any pictures of that part.
So that's all until later, when I find nothing else to do and decide to update again.

Boy did those holidays sure go quick. Ok, it didn't exaclty go as planned, but you can't do anything about it now. What's in the past is in the past. Speaking of which, the old picture of the week has been put away and a new potw has taken its place. There's an extra lengthy exerpt too for you to read.
Well, what have I been up to lately? Back to school as always. Already I have reports and projects on the go. I will be participating in this year's Winterlude amateur snow sculpture competition as part of the 2nd year Industrial Design group. That'll be fun. If you happen to see a 12 foot tall statue made out of electronic components next month, you'll know I had a hand in producing it.

The last week was pure hell. I could think of many better ways to spend my birthday other than at school, working on and presenting a final project all day, then starting and finishing a final project for another course all night long. Yesterday I presented the same project again. Today I begin my exams with one at 7. Well, at least there's no more classes for a while, so if anyone wants to do anything next week, give me a shout.
Now that I have more free time, I will definitely be adding to this site again. I might find a new domain to add more pictures too, but not today, I have to study now.
